Katie completed her Silver Arts Award in 2016.
There are two main elements to the Silver Arts Award: Arts Practice and Pathways and Arts Leadership.
For Arts Practice and Pathways Katie created this painting through a series of experiments. It all started with a monoprint and then playing around with paint effects on perspex. The result was quite special.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The exhibition was a great opportunity for Stitch Clubbers to see their work in an exhibition. The weekend Stitch Clubs met in the exhibition and the work looked very professional as you can see here.
