Stitch Club is the place to experiment, to make mistakes and to Be Creative
Stitch Club provides the basic skills and enthusiasm which can lead to a practical skill, a rewarding hobby, or even an exciting career … and most importantly to the satisfaction and fun of creating!
Stitch Club is located in Pinner, North West London. We are not just about learning how to sew on a button and mend a seam – you can make a skirt, a cushion, a bag, a quilt or even a crazy critter… anything that you can imagine, the list really is endless. We support and guide you through the process of making your idea into a real thing.
Stitch Club has collaborated with some talented artists and designers who share Sam’s enthusiasm for keeping, not just the skills of making alive, but also the fun and satisfaction that comes from creating. Most classes are run by Sam Harvey, a practising textile artist who has been stitching and making things for as long as she can remember. Christina Verden runs the dressmaking clubs. Other guest practitioners work in the studio from time to time.
Clubs and workshops are usually run from our dedicated Stitch Club studio, but if you are interested in running a workshop at your school, community centre or workplace, let us know and we will see what can be done.
Email Sam at sam@stitch.club if you would like to join one of our Workshops or Stitch Clubs. Join our mailing list at the bottom of this page if you would like to find out about workshops and events by newsletter.
